KASNEB REVISED STRUCTURE

KASNEB EXAMINATIONS UNDER THE REVISED STRUCTURE

The new syllabus has 5 tiers of qualifications: Short courses, Certificate programmes, Diploma programmes, Professional programmes and Post-professional specializations. The previous syllabus had 3 tiers of qualifications.

KASNEB will administer the following examinations under the revised structure of qualifications:

(a) Short (vocational) courses

1. Vocational Certificate in Entrepreneurship (VCE)
2. Vocational Certificate in IT (VCIT) – Graphic Design
3. Vocational Certificate in IT (VCIT) – Cyber Security
4. Vocational Certificate in IT (VCIT) – Blockchain applications

(b) Certificate examination

1. Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS)

(c) Diploma examinations

1. Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD).
2. Diploma in Information Systems Support (DISS).

(d) Professional examinations

1. Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
2. Certified Secretaries (CS).
3. Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA).
4. Certified Credit Professionals (CCP).
5. Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE).

(e) Post-qualifications certifications

1. Public financial management
2. Forensic accounting
3. Ethics and integrity
